A day after Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka said that the extension of Presidential term in office could be a good idea for this nation, the self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader has come forth with his guns blazing.

Miguna has now said that Kalonzo no capacity to transform this country.

Miguna opines that Kalonzo’s idea is retrogressive while urging Kenyans to avoid leaders of this nature. He said that Kalonzo’s claims that South Sudan and Somalia are doing better after many years of warring are not true.

Miguna, who was deported for taking part in the illegal swearing-in of ODM leader Raila Amolo Odinga, urged Kenyans to resist such leaders in next elections if they want to see a change in the nation in series of Tweets on Saturday.

"Kenyans need and deserve democracy, the rule of law, respect and adherence to the principles of constitutionalism and human rights. Kenyans have a right to a government they elect FREELY and periodically based on integrity and social justice. No to constitutional mutilations," he said.

Kalonzo, who is considered one of the front-runners in the race for power, has embarked on rooting for a change in the constitution to ensure that Kenyans benefit from the resources in this land.

He has, however, been facing rebellion from three Ukambani governors. Governors Alfred Mutua (Machakos), Kivutha Kibwana( Makeuni) and Charity Ngilu (Kitui) want Kalonzo to hand over the leadership mantle to a young and visionary leader who can rise to power.
