According to Uasin Gishu County Government's Cooperatives and Enterprise Development Department, the  8-day exhibition will attract participants from East African countries such as Tanzania, Uganda, Burundi, South Sudan, and Kenya.

The event will provide a platform for Uasin Gishu and the entire country to portray products for both local and international market. This will boost the economy, attract more investors and provide a wider market for locally produced products.

The trade fair is aimed at accommodating everyone with talent from all fields and attracting lots of exhibitions from East Africa.

Speaking after a meeting at Eldoret sports club, governor Jackson Mandago cited that Eldoret is the ideal choice.

"Eldoret is an ideal choice in the county and you know this region enjoys a number of infrastructure such as the airport and good road connectivity which will make the movement of goods and services during the exhibition easier," said the governor.

Eldoret is an economic hub for the North Rift and is expected to be soon elevated into a city.
