Ms Damaris Wambui Kamau, whose son Dennis Ngaruiya, left President Kenyatta said no to the property that was constructed by the Head of State team some time back.

The woman is not impressed with the kind of house she was gifted as appreciation from Uhuru because of his son's talent.

She allegedly lamented that the house has cracks all over and appears like a semi-permanent structure.

She said that Uhuru meant well for her family but the house doesn’t look like one from a commander in chief of the armed forces. She accused officials from the office of the President of playing games on her and the son.

State House Spokesperson and Head of Presidential Strategic Communication Unit (PSCU) Kanze Dena has, however, dismissed the claims saying that the structure was well-built and the woman has no reason to lament.

Dena said that she doesn’t understand why the woman chose to reject the gift yet it was constructed very well.

She said that the land on which the building was constructed belongs to Mr Mike Getone who works at State House.

The house remains unoccupied despite being complete.
