Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has launched a scathing attack at Mastermind Tobacco tycoon Wilfred M’iti Murungi in his death.
In a tweet, Miguna said that it is so unfortunate that a man of his caliber can be buried in such a low key event.
Journalists and Friends among other people were locked out of the event as only eight close family members laid him to rest under tight security.
According to Miguna, the tycoon made his wealth through killing others by infecting them with cancer. He also said that the tycoon used his millions to hide from the villagers as well as family members.
“When a man made billions of shillings by killing people with cancer, he goes to his grave so frightened of what awaits him beyond life to the extent that he uses his blood money to try to hide from his relatives and members of his village,” tweeted on Tuesday.
The family members asked, the villagers and his friends to keep off his burial ceremony at Kiurani village, Maara constituency. The ceremony last for only an hour.
The family deployed police officers from Chogoria and Magutuni to offer security at the burial site. It remains unclear why the family resorted to such measures during the sendoff.
