Some social media users have made jokes out of the issue, likening him to Kibaki's son.

This is with regards to Kibaki's stay in the country during his days at the Makerere University.

But it now emerges that the man, whom some have been referring to as young, is neither young nor is he in Kenya.

He is also not in any way related to the ex-Head of State.

Instead, he is a very prominent Ugandan ruler who sits at the helm of the Buganda Kindom, reports the Standard.

The man is Ronald Edward Fredrick Kimera Muwenda Mutebi II, sitting Kabaka (King) of the Buganda Kingdom, the Ugandan constitutional kingdom.

Just like Kibaki, his alleged son is a royal and part of the Kabaka lineage.

He is the son of the late Edward Fredrick William David Walugembe Luwangula Mutesa II.

Mutesa II was also known as King Freddie by the British colonizers before his death in 1969.

He held the throne from 1939.

Mutebi's mother was Nabakyala Sarah Natule Omuzaana Kabejja and is therefore not related to Kibaki in any way.
