June 16 marked the celebration of fatherhood, paternal bonds and the influence of fathers in society.

Diamond was not left out on the list of celebrities who wished their fathers a happy moment this day.

"GOES TO MY DAD AND ALL THE FATHERS IN THE WORLD........🌍," he captioned a Pepsi soda which had a message for the fathers.

In the recent past, Diamond was making headlines for allegedly ignoring his father.

In fact, some Kenyans were among those who took to social media to express their disappointment when they learnt that Diamond was not in good terms with his biological father.

Some Kenyans on different Facebook pages including the famous Kilimani Mams and Dads roasted the Bongo star for ignoring his own father.

Diamond then decided to forget his dark past with his father and sorted out their differences.

It was alleged that Mzee Abdul Juma had kicked out Diamond's mothers Bi Sandra Snura, making her struggle a lot to raise the singer, not knowing the son would emerge to be a highly celebrated star.

After the two reconciled, Diamond and his dad are now happy and in good terms.

The singer took it on Instagram to wish his father and all fathers a happy Father's Day.
