A politician allied to opposition coalition, NASA has threatened to dump the Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for Deputy President William Ruto.
The ANC party politician Thomas Nyamote, a former MCA aspirant in Bomariba ward said he is much impressed with DP Ruto commitment to seek presidency unlike the ODM party leader who is a sleep.
"I don't see any importance of being in Raila camp because Raila himself has not shown any interest to become president in 2022. I am weighing to join DP Ruto's camp where I think I will be safe," he said.
According to the vocal politician, in 2022 it will be difficult to 'market' opposition ideologies to the Gusii community.
"Selling opposition to the people of Gusii region in 2022 may be a bit difficult because Ruto has been close to the people, attending fund drive unlike Raila and his team who only resurrects when polls nears. I won't continue being in Raila's camp if Opposition won't change the way of playing politics," he stated.
He however, asked Raila to retire since he is not interested in the country's top seat.
