Radio Lake Victoria Presenter Betty Opondo announced her son’s death via a Facebook post that left many of her followers extremely shocked but still mastered the courage to console her.

According to the post, her son named Telvin was fit as a fiddle and was home watching TV before collapsing and dying with a remote in his hand.

Her post indicated that the son was sick for two weeks in December last year before he recovered and went back to school.

“Am trying to get a better picture of you Telvin. Am too weak to go through my pictures. Asleep or dead? Am I dreaming? You were only sick for two weeks in December, recovered and went back to School. What happened? How do people just collapse and die watching TV with a remote in the hand?” paused Betty Opondo on Facebook.

Betty Opondo is a former Radio Presenter at the Radio Africa Group which owns Radio Jambo, Classic 105 and Kisii 100.

Before joining Radio Lake Victoria last year, she was working as a Radio Presenter at the Kisumu’s Tom Mboya estate based Dala FM.

May her son’s soul rest in peace.
