The lawyer, who is currently exiled in Canada, admits he voted for Uhuru in the August 8, 2017 election but notes that his admiration for the Jubilee candidate came to an end when the final results were released.

Taking to social media to disclose why he dumped the son of Kenya's founding president Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, Miguna said he turned against Uhuru after realising he 'rigged' the election.

Uhuru's victory was nullified by the Supreme Court on grounds that the election was marred by massive illegalities and irregularities.

Miguna, who lost his Nairobi gubernatorial bid in the same election, said he joined the Raila Odinga-led NASA side after the disputed polls to condemn the killing of opposition supporters by the Jubilee administration.

However, he hit out at Raila for making a u-turn and entering into a peace deal with his sworn enemy through the famous March 9 handshake.

"I opposed him (Uhuru) after he stole elections and killed Kenyans. Those continuing to support him after he committed those crimes are the ones you should worry about. Voting is not theft or murder. Supporting a murderer and thief are crimes. Raila Odinga supports Uhuru after the crimes," Miguna said responding to a tweep who criticised him for having voted for Jubilee.
