The former Vice-President (VP) argues that he has what it takes to take over power from President Kenyatta.

Kalonzo, however, faces hurdles among them Ukambani unity in his push to succeed President Kenyatta.

A section of politicians once considered as Kalonzo’s allies have shown signs of rebellion 2022 quickly approaches.

Here are Kamba politicians who are likely to oppose Kalonzo’s 2022 presidential bid:

1. Joe Mutambo

The former Mwingi Central MP is a critic of Kalonzo and walked out of Wiper party in the run-up to 2017 general election.

He is likely to oppose Kalonzo’s 2022 presidential ambition.

2. John Munuve

The former Mwingi North MP also ditched Kalonzo’s party and joined Jubilee Party. He lost re-election in 2017 and is likely to campaign against Kalonzo’s 2022 bid.

3. Regina Ndambuki

The former Kilome MP fell-out with Kalonzo in the run to 2017 general election. She lost re-election and is likely to oppose Kalonzo’s 2022 presidential ambition.

4. Kisoi Munyao

The former Mbooni lawmaker dumped Kalonzo Wiper party and joined Jubilee.  He lost re-election and could oppose Kalonzo’s 2022 presidential dreams.
