Students at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) are now mourning following the sudden demise of their former student.
The student identified as Daniel Kung'u died in a gruesome road accident along Jogoo road. Details about the accident are still scanty. However, it is reported that he died on the spot.
News regarding his sudden death emanated from his former class representative and fellow classmate who posted on the JKUCA (Jomo Kenyatta University Class representative Association) WhatsApp group.
"It is so sad that one of Comrade left us. Daniel Kung'u who was doing Industrial mathematics died on a road accident along Jogoo road. We completed our final semester three weeks ago with him. Let's pray with his family and friends," his former class representative and classmate posted.
The deceased joined the school back in September 2015 and was expected to graduate in early November.
While in JKUAT, he did Bachelor of Science in Industrial Mathematics only completed his last semester at the university three weeks ago.
A section of JKUAT fraternity took to WhatsApp to express their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved class representative and family.
