Ngunyi’s assertion came barely hours after Uhuru and his one-time political nemesis Raila Odinga held a joint tour of Nyanza on Thursday.

Uhuru who was also accompanied by Deputy President William Ruto called for peace citing that the purpose of the handshake was meant to unify the country, sentiments that Raila agreed with.

However, in a fiery tweet, Ngunyi said that Kenyans are either “very stupid” or “Uhuru is very clever” now that the Jubilee duo was given a warm reception in Raila’s backyard after a period of political animosity between them.

“JANUARY 2018, Raila SWORE himself in. DECEMBER 2018, Uhuru is a HERO in BONDO. Kenyans are EITHER very STUPID or Uhuru is VERY CLEVER. Our End of YEAR Report CARD #UhuruInKisumu,” read Ngunyi’s tweet.

Odoyo Eric hit out at the analyst famed for the tyranny of number telling that "You are one of the affected by the handshake because you thrive in chaos," while Balozi Kevo said "What do you gain from the political division? If #UhuruInKisumu brings #Peace to the community, what's your point? @UKenyatta go to the world uki Mali a #KenyaAt55 #baloziwaamaniinitiative.

Paukwa Pakawa railed at Ngunyi saying he thrives in chaos while Michael Malia asserted that the handshake has indeed brought peace in the country.
