The county that borders Somalia has been at the center of the attacks even as the government puts in place measures to fight terror agents.

The April 2, 2015 attack at the Garissa University College that left 147 students dead was one of the worst terrorist attacks in the country's history.

Detectives probing the DusitD2 terror attack in Nairobi have since camped in Garissa as the hunt for more attackers continue.

On Monday, three more suspects linked to DusitD2 attack were arrested in Ijara and Hagadera.

As the government security forces intensify fight against terror, here are 3 things you should never do when attacked by terrorists.

1. Recording or taking their pictures

When attacked by suspected terrorists, you should never record or take their pictures.

Recording or taking pictures during an attack could attract the attention of the terrorists to the place you are hiding.

2. Speaking loudly on the phone

When you find yourself under a terrorist attack, never talk loudly on phone.

Instead of making or receiving calls, it is advisable to text in order to avoid getting seen or heard by terrorists.

3. Confronting the terrorists

You should never confront terrorists when under attack whether you are armed or not.

Allow the police to do their work.

Instead of confronting them, figure out on safety exit routes or silently communicate with rescue teams.

Confronting terrorists could expose you and other hostages to more danger.

It is good for us to remain vigilant and volunteer information that will help security forces nail terror agents.
