A man is nursing serious injuries on suspicion that he has been sleeping with his neighbor's wife.
This happened on Sunday evening at Omogonchoro area in Kisii County.
Evans Momanyi was attacked by goons believed to have been hired by his neighbor.
"It was around 9 pm and I had retired to bed when unknown people knocked on the door claiming that they had lost. I opened the door for them and they forced their way into the house covered their heads with masks," he said.
Momanyi said the goons questioned him why he has been sleeping with his neighbor's wife and when he refused to accept they squeezed his manhood in presence of his wife. Monica Nyakara.
"I had covered myself with a blanket which they pulled down and squeezed my manhood while they beat me up as my wife watched. I screamed and when the goons heard neighbors making their way into the homestead they escaped into darkness," he noted.
Area Nyumba Kumi official Johnson Nyabaro said the man's neighbor has in several occasions threatened to kill Momanyi on claims that he has been sleeping with his wife at night when he is not at home.
Nyabaro said goons remain unknown but, a public baraza has been scheduled to take place on Tuesday to discuss the matter.
