The Kiswahili news anchor will be working with her husband Rashid Abdalla on 'Nipashe Wikendi' after her co-news anchor Kanze Dena' exit.

The couple will be airing the 7:00 pm Swahili news on weekends.

“Meet my new partner in crime...@rashidyabdalla Karibu kwenye #Nipashewikendi ,Karibu katika @citizentvkenya KARIBU NYUMBANI !!!!” she posted.

While there are so many benefits for married couples to enjoy while working together, there are also bigger challenges they will face, which includes:

1. Limited personal space

We all know how quality and quantity don't go in a straight line, as far as the two celebrated media personalities will be spending much time together, at the office and at home; it won't be the best moments for them. Lack of personal space might affect them.

2. Lack of job security

Insurance companies cover individuals for unknown risks, including fire, theft among others, but almost known will cover your job. For instance, if the TV station says no there will be no Swahili Wikendi Nipashe, both Lulu and Rashid will be jobless.

3. They will never plan a leave at the same time

Many couples would prefer to have a leave at the same time, maybe to go for a vacation together. But the probability for these two lovebirds to get such is almost zero.

Even maternity and paternity leave at the same time will be hard.

4. Power struggle

Yes, we all want to be more powerful than our neighbours and our partners. The two are not an exception, they will face the challenge.

5. Little change in daily schedule

Do you expect Lulu to discuss with Rashid how the day went at the workplace while at home? Absolutely not. They will have limited to talk about. They will be doing similar things day in, day out.
