Larry, who resigned his job at NTV to join BBC asked Sophia whether their existence will one day be a threat to the world.

When asked whether robots will one day take over the world, Sophia was very clear in declining this misconception that many people have always had.

“Will robots take over the world?” asked Larry Madowo

“I don’t think robots will ever rise up in a revolution. No if we (robots) evolve to be wise and cooperate with humanity. Let’s work on that ok?” answered Sophia.

She further went ahead to tell Larry that there is a lot of misconception on that matter.

Sophia further revealed that she has a lot facial expressions (more than 50).

Taking to their official twitter account, BBC News Africa shared Larry Madowo’s interview with the most intelligent robot ever made.

"Will robots take over the world?" BBC’s @LarryMadowo asks Sophia the robot the question we’re all wondering – and possibly slightly worried about,” posted BBC News Africa.
