When detectives are mentioned, most Kenyans will focus their attention on the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) boss George Kinoti's team.

However, there are other privately-owned detective firms with a similar goal like that of Kinoti's team, and one of these firms include Jane Wawira Mugo's Trimo Security Solutions Ltd based in Nairobi.

Mugo is the CEO at the firm and has been making headlines for her bravery and will to fish out criminals from their hideout.

After working as the undercover agent with the Kenya Police for some years, Mugo joined another team of private detectives, and up to date, she has never regretted her decision.

“I love the job, and I love my suspects too, and the thrill of the chase,” she said as quoted by Nation.

Mugo who is well-versed in English, Kiswahili and Kikuyu, will leave one shocked when she switches to coded detectives' language.

As expected, criminals never hesitate to threaten her when they know she is after them.

“Initially, I got very scared whenever I received death threats but nowadays I’ve developed some thick skin,” she noted.

More so, regardless of her busy schedule, Mugo also finds time to socialize and 'slay' on different social media platforms.

Here are some of her photos she shared on Instagram.
