The personal assistant of Migori Governor Okoth Obado was on Tuesday transferred to Nairobi where he will again be arraigned in line with the murder at 2.00 PM.

According to the Citizen Digital, the decision was arrived at by the relevant authorities due to the magnitude of the matter and the rising tension in the county.

The move, however, was silently done, leaving even his defence team in the dark, further reports the publication.

A section of his lawyers on Tuesday arrived at the Homabay High Court awaiting his arraignment as was directed but learnt hours later that he had already been shifted to the capital.

Oyamo’s name has heavily featured in the incident which the government has since confirmed as murder through its Spokesman Erick Kiraithe and Chief Pathologist Johansen Oduor.

Sharon’s lifeless body was found in Kodera Forest, Homabay County early last week, after reportedly being abducted in Rongo town, Migori county Monday night.

She was the second year Medical Records student at the institution and was reportedly seven months pregnant when she met her death.
