NASA leader Raila Odinga has warned Kisii County Deputy Governor Joash Maangi over his closeness with DP William Ruto.
Raila said Maangi should focus on helping his boss Governor James Ongwae to empower the electorates and not loiter around with DP Ruto.
“Loitering around with Ruto is unacceptable and may end up putting you in trouble. Focus on service delivery and support your boss fully to boost the lives of Kisii people,” he said in reference to Maangi.
He said policies governing the opposition should be followed failure to which disciplinary actions will be taken.
“Misuse of public funds is not allowed in the country. NASA affiliated leaders should not attempt to embezzle funds meant for development since it will taint opposition’s name. Funds should be allocated appropriately to complete projects,” he stated.
He said the handshake between him and President Uhuru Kenyatta didn't kill opposition coalition as claimed since the handshake was meant to unite Kenyans.
The ODM party leader was speaking on Saturday at Gusii stadium.
