Apart from the handsome pay to the Muslim clerics, Gure also offered to sponsor at least ten orphan kids get religious education.

"Upon my request, the Ulumaas have identified and forwarded to me the names of 10 orphaned students whom I’ll fully sponsor their religious education," she added.

The politician's post comes barely a day after she led students and teachers to a prayer session at the Bura primary school grounds on Monday to invoke for rain from Allah.

The Monday prayers follows a soaring drought situation that has ravaged the county for months now.
