President Uhuru warned politicians of engaging in premature politics but rather concentrate on development and whipping out corruption.

The MP who has been spending much of her time on TV interviews on Tuesday was a guest at Citizen TV where she rubbished Uhuru's call to stop early politics.

She went on to state that early politics does not affect the country's development in any way as early said by President Uhuru. She accused him of trying to stop MPs from carrying on with their politics yet he will not be on the ballot come 2022.

On another interview, she accused the head of state of using holy grounds to insult other leaders.

“It is unfortunate that the President can stand on a religious podium and speak such words to his people,” she said.

However, this has not been received well with a portion of Kenyans, who have now come out to attack her.

Flamboyant city lawyer Donald Kiporir came out responding to her attacks on Uhuru.

In a message through his Twitter account, Mr Kipkorir reminded Ms Wahome that it was Uhuru who made her to be elected into office.

"MPs from Mount Kenya Region like Alice Wahome surprise me when they allege it’s them who got Uhuru Kenyatta elected & not the reverse ... Even a village nincompoop knows that it’s a Party & the Party Leader that leads to victory in polls. Let Alice run next time on Green Party," he said.
