There was drama on Wednesday at Dunga in Kisumu after a lady discovered that her biological father was her own brother.
The 21 year old lady identified as Lilian Apiyo, busted into tears after she discovered the secret.
The instance started when her mother was quarreling with one of their neighbors.
During the exchange between her mother and the neighbor, the daughter heard the neighbor tell her mum that she slept with his brother.
“Everyone knows it. You slept with your own son. Tell your daughter that her dad is her brother,” said the neighbor in Luo language.
The sentiments almost sent the two women into a fight but the neighbors intervened.
This writer established that on the same evening, the furious daughter tried to commit suicide, but his uncle rushed her to the hospital where she is receiving treatment.
"She took poison after her mum said it was true. She is now recovering well," said a close source.
21 years ago, after her husband died, the mother slept with her step-son who then impregnated her.
