Controversial gospel artist Willy Paul on Friday hinted during a radio interview on how much his new Mercedes Benz cost him.
The singer who was at Milele FM for the second day of his media tour that is aimed at popularising his new song 'Shado Mado', was responding to a question thrown at him by Alex Mwakideu, the breakfast show host.
"Willy Pozee, how much did you buy that Mercedes car? (Willy Pozee ile gari ulinunua pesa ngapi ile Mercedes?)" Mwakideu asked.
"You know, I don't want to say so that Kenyans can know that I bough it at Sh6.5 million; that the initial price was Sh7.5 million but I bargained and bought it at Sh6.5 million. I don't want them to know that. (Unajua siezitaka kusema ati wakenya wajue ati ooh ati sasa nikuje niseme ati nilinua Sh6.5 million. Ati nikienda niliambiwa Sh7.5 nika-burgain nikaachiwa na Sh6.5 Million. Siezitaka wajue hivyo)," Willy Paul sarcastically replied.
Asked on how he gets his money; the artist said that his main and only source of income was his music career.
Willy Paul is the second artist with highest number of subscribers on YouTube which is also a source of income for musicians.
