The leaders led by Kisii County Director of Education Henry Onderi said Tabichi's win is an indication that the Gusii community has more learned people in this country.

"Tabichi's win is a clear indication that the Gusii community is capable of producing intelligent people. Let his win be a challenge to parents to ensure they are investing more on their children through education," said Onderi.

A local Kisii based politician Lillian Marwa appealed to teachers across Kisii county to follow the footsteps of Tabichi.

"Teachers in various school in Kisii should copy what Tabichi is doing so that they can win more prizes in future. Tabichi's win came through hard work," she stated.

Young women Democrats chairperson Asnus Nyaramba should stop being lazy and help learners to excel in national exams.

"The government pays teachers so that they can teach learners well. My appeal to teachers is that they should maintain high levels of discipline and integrity while teaching," he added.
