The clergymen were led by Bishop Jonah Kariuki of Rock of Christ Gospel Church.

In a tweet, Ruto shared photos of the meeting, but did not disclose what was discussed.

Shortly after sharing the photos, the DP also shared a Bible verse on obeying God's commands.

“Deuteronomy 8 verses 1 and 6: "Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today. Observe the commands of the Lord your God, walking in obedience to Him and revering Him," he tweeted.

Earlier on, DP Ruto held a meeting with Serbian Ambassador to Kenya Dragan Županjevac.

The DP noted that they discussed various issues regarding the two nations.

“We are also sharing best practices, transferring technology and expertise as part of efforts to achieving the Big Four, especially housing and manufacturing and promoting niche courses for our vocational training institutes.

"Kenya is exploring emerging export markets, including in Eastern Europe for its diversified agricultural produce. Serbia is a target destination for avocado, mango, macadamia and other value-added products that will enhance farmers' earnings and boost our balance of trade," he said.
