Residents of Nyando Constituency in Kisumu County now have a reason to smile.
This follows the completion of the previously dilapidated Ranjira/Okana road.
The road has been given a face lift, courtesy of the area Member of Parliament (MP) Jared Okello.
“The new face of once dilapidated Ranjira/Okana road courtesy of Nyando MP Hon Jared Okelo who is keen on changing the narrative of perennial bad state of roads in Nyando,” reads part of a post published on the Nyando Communication Unit Facebook page.
“This is one of the many roads where serious works is currently ongoing in the constituency,” adds the post.
Okello was elected on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party last year.
He is serving his first term in office, and replaced former MP Fred Outa who moved to the Senate as Kisumu Senator.
