The longest-serving Member of parliament from Kisii region has left many people in shock when he said that he is not yet ready to retire from politics despite his old age.
The Kitutu Chache North Member of Parliament Honorable Jimmy Nuru Ondieki Angwenyi said that he is in politics to stay and that he has no plans for his life after politics.
Jimmy Angwenyi who is now serving on his fifth term as a Member of Parliament is almost turning seventy-three years and has got no sign or plan to quit politics.
He said that he had some things which he feels he has not done to his people in Kitutu Chache North. Here are some of the reactions
He is a graduate student at Nairobi University where graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics university in the year 1970.
He also graduated from Duke University with a PhD in Finance in the year 1974. He was once a lecturer of Kenyatta University between the years 1988 to 1996 when he joined politics.
Honourable Angwenyi vied for Kitutu Chache North under the Jubilee ticket and won. He had previously vied for the same sit under the Ford People ticket.
