The Kenyan political atmosphere was lit before the Riverside Al Shabaab attack put a pause to it.

It was a time when 2022 succession politics headlines were everywhere in the media despite President Kenyatta's call for a stop to these discussions.

With former Jubilee Party Interim Chairperson David Murathe being the central player in these discussions, Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential ambitions were put to question following the remarks by the former.

He vowed to employ every single means to block the DP from vying for presidency come 2022.

However, two-time presidential candidate, Mwalimu Mohammed Abduba Dida who would be expected to comment on this debate never raised a voice of concern.

Considering the fact that he is a key political player and of course one of the presidential hopefuls in Kenyan elections, a Kenyan with beaming interest in politics would expect him to at least say something on the untimely 2022 politics.

Dida has maintained a low profile since 2017 nullified elections in which he emerged position four with 38,904 votes.

But what could he be doing?

Well, just like president Uhuru Kenyatta said he has no time for 2022 politics and is busy doing the job that Kenyans elected him for, Dida could be as well be busy serving his career while waiting for the next round of elections.

Dida who is a High School teacher is probably busy instilling knowledge on students, following in the footsteps of Uhuru who is busy launching development projects in different parts of Kenya.

Moreover, he arguably has a big family as well and could be using this time to be with his family before 2022 campaigns begin.
