Kihika is among a number of Jubilee politicians allied to Deputy President William Ruto whose bodyguards were recalled on Friday.

In a tweet on Monday, Etale claimed that the latter is now in opposition, judging by the victimization she seems to be undergoing under President Uhuru Kenyatta's government.

He recalled how Kihika was until recently talking tough because she is allied to the ruling Jubilee Party, and wondered why the pride had suddenly disappeared.

He further recalled how she used to bash opposition boss Raila Odinga and his brigade, only to find herself in almost a similar situation.

"Susan, glad you are now in opposition. Where did this braggadocio disappear to. Some time back, you spoke like you were above the moon," he said.

Etale referred to a remark by Kihika in late 2017, weeks after Raila's loss to President Uhuru Kenyatta where she was seemingly mocking the former prime minister.

"I told you all NASA had no capacity to stop the elections unless they knew something that we didn’t? They said they knew the law! Clearly, they didn’t! On 10/26 elections happened! They misadvised Baba not to participate see how desperate he has become! 12/12 is just another hoax!" read the tweet.

Other politicians whose security details have been withdrawn include Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, MPs Alice Wahome (Kandara), Kimani Ichungwa (Kikuyu) and Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati).
