President Uhuru Kenyatta landed on Friday morning at Raila Odinga's Bondo home for breakfast as the two leaders trip in Luo Nyanza entered day two.

Earlier, Uhuru's motorcade cruised to Raila's Opoda Farm before the president landed in his official Kenya Air Force helicopter at the compound.

Upon arrival, Uhuru was ushered in by Raila Odinga, who would introduce local leaders and government officials who had lined up at the venue.

The president made his historical trip to the region that has for long time been associated with opposition politics on Thursday in the company of First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and DP William Ruto.

State House, via Twitter, said the president and his host would attend breakfast meeting at Opoda Farm before driving to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology for graduation ceremony.

Absent from Day Two trip is DP William Ruto who instead chose the attend a similar function at Kisii University,  around 180km from Bondo.
