The two musicians were invited as special guest in a local radio station in Mombasa (Baraka FM) in their drive show.

Well,  just as many artists would, the duo decided to take a short video and photograph at the entrance of the building housing the media house.

The officers manning the building entrance stopped them from filming stating it was illegal and were directed to use a different entrance.

According to Naiboi,  the officers at the entrance thought they were filming them, a claim the artists denied.

"We were just filming,  we did not know there were police officers at that entrance.  One of them asked why we were filming them which we replied we were not, " said Naiboi during Radio Interview with Baraka FM.

Less than an hour into the interview,  the duo were shocked after they were told that police officers, who were accompanied by City Council askaris, are looking for them and needed them at the station's reception.

Things escalated after a short chat with the officers as they were arrested for talking film and photographs in an area that barred photography.

The interview had to be cut short and the two were detained in a bank located in the building's ground floor.

They were released an hour later after they had deleted all the video.

"They asked us to delete the video,  which we did," Naiboi added.
