An ODM governor in Gusii region is in trouble over the invasion of raw sewage into rivers in his county.
Kisii County Governor James Ongwae has been termed lazy and unfit to continue holding a public office.
According to Isaac Motari, the Kisii County Jubilee youth secretary general Ongwae has failed to perform.
"The discharge of raw sewage from Kisii town to Riana river is affecting Bonchari residents directly. Outbreak of funny diseases within our area may occur yet we have a county government comprising of a lazy governor. It is time Ongwae should move with speed to ensure the raw sewage menace is solved," he said.
Mr. Motari condemned the county boss for failing to ensure there are drugs at hospitals such as Nyamagundo and Iyabe despite the facilities's upgrade.
"Our people are not being attended to well at the health centers because the lazy governor's administration has not stocked drugs as required. In fact there is nothing residents of Kisii are celebrating about devolution governance," he stated.
The vocal youth leader issued an ultimatum to the county government to ensure sewer-lines which are leaking are repaired failure to which locals will stage demonstrations.
