The controversial lawyer accused Murkomen and his allies of blindly following President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

It all started when Murkomen posted a Biblical verse on his social media page to inspire his followers only for the lawyer to respond in an unexpected manner.

“One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.!” read Murkomen's tweet.

The inspirational verse, however, did not augur well with the self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) general.

He reminded Murkomen how he told him in 2017 alongside one Aaron Cheruyoit (Senator Kericho) to reconsider their support for Jubilee.

“My brother Kipchumba, as you may recall, I told you and Mr. Aaron Cheruiyot on @ntvkenya in November 2017, but which you both had exuberantly ignored because your mouths, bellies and pockets were full with illicit loot - stop following demagogues and reciting the Bible,” he said.

Murkomen and other leaders allied to DP Ruto have been faulting President Kenyatta for allegedly targeting him in the fight against graft. They believe the President has been working with ODM Leader Raila Odinga to block Ruto from ascending to power in 2022.
