Police in Kisumu have launched a manhunt for a lady identified as Annet Otieno who has allegedly robbed Sh1.6 million from different victims in the county.
Annet who is known to be a big fan of partying has been termed as the prime suspect in the recent series of robbery at top clubs in the county.
The accused is said to have been seducing and drugging her clients before stealing from them.
She was last seen on Saturday night at Club Mamba before leaving in the company of 50-year-old James Omore to an unknown place.
On Sunday morning, Okore was found lying in critical condition in one of the top Kisumu hotels.
The victim who is currently admitted at Avenue Hospital in Kibuye recorded a statement at the Kondele police, where he claimed to have lost Sh 172,000 from his different accounts including M-Pesa.
According to Kondele police boss, the same lady is a prime suspect in an incident where another man lost Sh 1.2 million at a club in Mbakadia after being drugged one month ago.
“She looks like the same suspect in the Mbakadia incident. We will get her to the law soon. We just request anyone with information about the lady to avail it to the police,” Ben Baraza told Urban Radio.
Following the incident, Kisumu revelers have been urged to remain on high alert and be careful on who they hang out with when having fun.
