“Sasa tulikua na mwenyeji wetu hapa ambaye ni ndugu yangu mkubwa (Raila Odinga) sijui alipotelea wapi. Ako mbele ama huko nyuma?” the President asked residents.

It loosely translates to “So we were with our host who is my elder brother (Raila Odinga) I don’t know where he got to. Is he in front or behind me?”

The residents also seemed not to know the whereabouts of the ODM party leader. The two leaders were in Kisumu County for the second time in a month’s period.

In December, they officiated over the launch of the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) programme at the Mamboleo Show Ground in Kisumu.

On that occasion, they were accompanied by Deputy President (DP) William Ruto.

The DP was back in Kisumu on January 15, when he attended the installation ceremony of Philip Subira Anyolo as the new Archbishop of the Kisumu Catholic Archdioceses.
