The duo has been hosting NRG's Breakfast Club since last year when the radio station was launched. They hosted their last show on Friday during which they broke the news of their departure.

“There is an announcement to make ladies and gentlemen. This may come as a shock to some of you, others may have seen this coming, other may have read about it in a few gossip tabloids. It is officially, the very last show on the NRG Breakfast club with Andrew Kibe and Kamene Goro,” DJ Kace who is part of the NRG Breakfast Club team made the announcement on Instagram.

The departure of the pair is a big blow to the radio station as their breakfast show had gained a lot of popularity and fan base. It is believed that Mwalimu Rachael will step in to host the breakfast show in the meantime.

Kamene and Kibe have been rumoured to be heading to Radio Africa’s Kiss 100 to host Kiss Breakfast. The Breakfast show which is one of the most popular in the country was initially hosted by Adelle Onyango who resigned after 7 years of service at the station.
