Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has said that his meeting with retired former President Daniel Arap Moi will take place soon.
Kalonzo says that Moi has agreed to meet him and that he will communicate the date soon.
The Wiper Party leader says that his meeting with Moi will focus on the country's unity and nothing else.
Kalonzo said that Moi was his political mentor and that he has a right to visit and seek counsel from him.
"The meeting will not be about 2022 politics as some people are widely speculating," the former VP said when he attended the homecoming party of Grace Parantai in Kajiado on Friday.
The Wiper leader said that it is not time to debate 2022 politics urging elected leaders to focus on service delivery.
Kalonzo has been pushing to meet with Moi months after the former president met with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Political pundits are arguing that Kalonzo's meeting if indeed comes will focus on 2022.
Peter Ngure, a Kiambu based political analyst says that Kalonzo's eyes are on 2022 and he could be trying to make a deal with Moi's family.
"It is all about 2022 and Kalonzo just like Raila and others want the Moi's support, " he said.
