Popular singer Akothee has told men looking out to date her that she is not available.
Speaking on Friday night during 10 Over10 show on Citizen TV, Akothee gave permission members of 'Team Mafisi', who she said always ask her out, to start dating her daughters.
The mother of five said she was no longer interested in love affairs since she was a mother whose age had advanced.
"I am not dating anyone, I am already old and I have many children. Start dating my daughters!" said the self-declared president of single moms.
On the reason why she is yet to record a song with a Kenyan artiste, the 'Give It To Me' hitmaker said she was scared of 'scandals'.
"People keep asking me why I haven’t collaborated with local artists, but I am scared of a scandal, I am already a moving scandal," she remarked without giving further explanation.
Akothee asked local musicians complaining that deejays and media houses were not playing their songs to develop a thick skin and venture into new markets.
"You cannot survive in music in Kenya if you are not a strong personality…not everyone plays my music in Kenya- I have so many haters in the music industry. Too many Kenyan artistes are suffering and I feel for them," said Akothee.
