For the governor's daughter Saumu Mbuvi, a proposal just came this weekend and she is unable to hide her joy.
Taking to social media, Saumu showed off a lovely ring courtesy of the Intended.
She was however quick to cast away talk of her eloping with someone else's husband.
“He is a businessman and I met him when I was travelling to the US. We exchanged numbers and started talking even when I came back," Saumu posted.
"He has never been married. Maybe he was ever in a relationship, like I was before. People are always jealous, and those negative things are just from people who are jealous,” she added.
