The President has been largely silent on the fight against corruption lately, taking a break from his initial threats and vows to deal with the corrupt in his government.

Noor now says that the silence is very likely to be broken with a major declaration, noting that Uhuru could be planning something big in line with his anti-corruption agenda.

He stressed on the need for the President to consider firing his top officials involved or named in the vice once he reemerges, as a way of showing his sincerity in the fight.

"Vile amenyamaza, huenda anapanga kitu kikubwa, tunataka akijitokeza afukuze mafisadi serikalini mwake. (His silence points at a man planning something big, it should include firing his corrupt officials)," he said.

The politician was speaking on Cheche Show on Radio Sauti Ya Mwananchi, Saturday evening.

He urged Members of Parliament to lend a hand in the fight, challenging the President to seek the house's support, failure to which he will carry the entire blame.

Noor also stressed on the need for parliamentarians to come up with bills to further crush the corrupt in solidarity with the president and Kenyans.

"Na hao wabunge wachache wema waungane na rais wapigane na ufisadi, wale watakaopinga ndio wafisadi. (Let the few lawmakers with good intentions join hands with the president in fighting graft and the opposers will automatically be the corrupt ones)," he noted.
