Elodie Zone who once dated former President Mwai Kibaki’s grandson, Sean Andrew, has been vlogging for more than two years and currently works with NRG radio.

Two of her latest videos on her YouTube channel have apparently rubbed netizens the wrong way. The second last video is titled ‘Assumptions about me’ whereas her most recent video is titled ‘Get to know me’.

A section of Kenyans was not particularly pleased when the 22-year-old social media influencer said that she dropped out of the United States International University (USIU) because the institution had traditional methods of teaching.

The YouTuber who rarely speaks Kiswahili could also not pronounce the word “Wueh” with some of the netizens arguing that she was pretending.

The netizens did not also take it lightly when Elodie stated that people using androids needed to upgrade.

“I am not scared of people that hid behind their android screens 😂 please upgrade 🤚🏽 “the old Elodie” that many claim to miss is gone,” Elodie Zone wrote on her YouTube video’s pinned comment.

Elodie Zone at one point deleted all the content on her YouTube channel and stopped posting videos. She, however, resumed vlogging two weeks ago.

Here are some of the reactions to the videos.
