Kuria said the song by a Kikuyu artist Kimani wa Turacco should be condemned with strongest words possible.

Speaking in Kiamwangi Town in Gatundu South on Tuesday, Kuria asked Deputy President William Ruto’s supporters to ignore the song.

The Jubilee MP claimed that some people are determined to cause rifts between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Ruto.

Kuria said that Jubilee will not fall to blackmail, adding that the party will remain unity beyond 2022.

He said that DP Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid is causing fears among certain political forces.

The Gatundu South MP said that they will continue pushing for DP Ruto’s candidature whether political enemies like it or not.

The ‘Hatuna Deni, Kitaeleweka' song continues to elicit reactions among politicians allied to the DP.

On Sunday, DP Ruto broke his silence over the 2022 succession debate, saying that no community owes him a debt.

The DP further noted that he too does not owe anyone a debt.

This comes amid claims of a looming fallout in Jubilee over the 2022 succession debate.

Last week, Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju revealed that the party is planning for a retreat to iron out differences among members.
