This comes barely about a week after Kibicho found himself in trouble with Ruto's allies over claims that his ministry gave DP Ruto less security during a function he attended in Nyeri county.

In his response, Kibicho blamed the DP's office for not furnishing the Interior Ministry with his schedule of tours so that it can avail the needed security, which has subjected him to attacks.

Speaking on Friday, Ichungwah accused Kibicho of arrogance, bashing him for overlooking the DP's constitutional rights which demands that he be given enough security wherever he goes.

“It is this kind of arrogance and impunity by civil servants that is undermining our Constitution, our national values and getting the nation into unnecessary political narratives,” he was quoted by the Nation.

The MP further took issue with Kibicho's excuses, wondering if he is in a position to demand submission from the DP's office.

He noted that Ruto is holding an elective office and cannot, therefore, be given such demands with Kibicho whom he ranked far below the DP.

"Who is Kibicho to a DP elected by millions of people to furnish him with an itinerary of his movements?” Ichungwah wondered.
