Bomachoge Borabu MP Alpha Ondieki Miruka said DP Ruto should stop panicking.

"Ruto should give the DCI and DPP humble time to arrest and prosecute corrupt individuals. Ruto's allies claiming that only one community is targeted in the graft war are misleading and DP Ruto should stop them," he said.

The lawmaker insisted that even if it is President Uhuru Kenyatta, his family members and relatives engaging in dubious dealings, they must be apprehended for prosecution.

"We should not defend impunity in this country the same way some politicians allied to DP Ruto are claiming. Ruto through his allies is sending signs of panic ahead of the 2022 polls," added Ondieki.

The vocal MP urged the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) not to relent on graft war.

"Cartels must face the law because public funds can't be stolen just like that. No matter who the cartels are they must be jailed for the sake of bringing accountability," he added.
