However, the CS was forced to answer a question unexpectedly submitted to him by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.

“When he heard that you were coming to the show tonight, Senator Moi requested me to ask you why the government is ignoring areas such as Baringo, Pokot and Turkana in terms of arresting the recurring drought situation in parts of the country,” Gachoka informed the CS.

“We are not ignoring them. One of the most successful dams is Chemususu dam which is distributing water to people is in Baringo,” said Wamalwa.

Baringo is among counties that on most occasions experience drought during dry seasons.

On President Uhuru Kenyatta’s legacy, the CS said that it will all depend on whether he wins or loses the war against corruption.

The Head of State has lately stepped up the war against corruption as he heads into the final stretch of his second term which comes to an end in 2022.

CS Wamalwa also said he supports calls for a referendum to amend sections of the constitution.

“I support a referendum. We need to change the constitution, look at the executive and the Judiciary among others,” he said.
