The self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) leader said that the current Jubilee regime has failed the people of Kenya as far as food production is concerned.

The lawyer said that Uhuru, who is completing his second and final term in office, has not done enough to address the issue. He insisted that it is the duty of the government to ensure that the people are protected from such problems.

“Don't blame Kenyans dying of starvation, hunger and curable diseases. The government of the day, whatever its origins or nature, is RESPONSIBLE for ALL KENYANS' BASIC NEEDS. For these images, blame and remove @UKenyatta from power because he is focused on stealing, murder and PR,” he said.

Miguna, who has been very vocal on matters of national interest, also said that only a revolution will solve the problems facing this nation. He urged Kenyans to stand up and resist the Jubilee regime.

“The revolution we are calling for is a popular and peaceful one which requires the rising up of one million or more Kenyan civilians against the less than 1% of despots in order to transform our social order, bring social justice and erase these images for good. #FaillingGOK,” he said.
