On Wednesday, Justice Erastus Githinji reversed High Court ruling that had nullified Keter's victory on grounds of voter bribery and campaigning past stipulated time.

With a number of ODM legislators led by Babu Owino lauding the court's decision, Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose has also termed the victory as 'deserved'.

"As a lawyer, I can tell you that judges make ruling based on evidence. However, sometimes they can make errors like in the case of Keter. I congratulate him for the win," he said.

Former Kitutu Masaba MP Walter Nyambati, a close confidant of President Uhuru Kenyatta, slammed High Court insisting that a number of them are 'misused' by politicians.

"Some of us like Keter were victims of uninformed decisions at the High Court. I believe the Appeals Court is competent and cannot be compromised."

Nyambati will be also waiting for a major ruling at Kisumu on July 26th when the court will rule on his petition against Governor John Nyagarama.

After the ruling, Keter sent warning shots at the Deputy President William Ruto, insisting that he cannot 'bow' down for him.
