Kalembe made the announcement on Saturday in Kathiani.

He noted that he has moved from Jubilee to the Wiper party and will work with the party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.

"You know last time during elections I vied for Mavoko parliamentary seat on a Jubilee ticket against Patrick Makau but in 2022 I will be with Kalonzo," said Kalembe.

The former Tip Tip party leader also said that he has buried the hatchet with the former Vice President and that everything is fine between them.

"I'm now working with Kalonzo, we have past issues but it's all in the past. I once asked Charity Ngilu that if I can work with Kalonzo despite our ugly past who are they (Ngilu, Mutua and Kibwana) to find it hard because there should be forgiveness between people," said Kalembe.

He further asked those in the Wiper party not be shaken by his entry. He said; "Those in Wiper should not feel insecure I have not come to take any seat in the party."

Kalembe's Tip Tip was among several parties that folded up to form the Jubilee party before the 2017 general elections
