When deep frying, you will probably need the right pan to do the activity.

Besides using the wrong pan, most people tend to make other mistakes when deep frying.

Here are some of the mistakes that most people make while deep frying.

1. Frying at a high temperature

Deep frying your food at too high a temperature will result in either burnt or dry food.

One has to know the right temperature required for a particular food to be well cooked.

2. Using the wrong oil

The type of oil you use matters a lot.

This is because some oils have a high smoke point and neutral flavours hence resulting in flavourless, fried food.

In that case, one should always choose the perfect oil that is likely to suit the type of food he or she is planning to deep fry.

3. Frying too much at once

This applies mostly when frying chips.

Most people get tempted to deep fry a lot of sliced potatoes at once but this is always a wrong idea.

The perfect way of getting well cooked and dried sliced potatoes is by putting a small amount in the pan.
