Speaking on Radio Jambo’s Mazungumzo Waziwazi show on Wednesday evening, Kobia expressed his dissatisfaction on how the government handles a number of key issues.

He pointed out that if proper development strategies could have been put in place by previous governments, Kenya will be at the same development scale with nations like Singapore, Dubai and Hongkong.

“The problem we have here in Kenya is that many of our leaders do not love their country. Most of our big business persons invest most of their wealth abroad. We must first love our country and work together to achieve the big four agenda,” he said.

Mr Kobia insisted that he is determined to grab the top seat and transform Kenya within the first year of his reign.

“We are not supposed to have problems with food security as seen now. All governors should effectively utilize county funds to stabilize food security. Corruption is an issue that is dragging us behind and if I become the president, I will arrest everybody who is involved in graft regardless of their social class. I am a fearless person and Kenya should be run by a fearless president,” he added.

The businessman added that he has a lot of wealth to fund his campaigns and that his relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga is good.

He pointed out the essence of Kenya benchmarking the developed countries so leaders can learn how to handle key issues.
